Shockingly Embarrassing Acknowledgments about Life and Love That Changed Everything For Me

I had a patient tell me I had really BIG blingy earrings in the ER one day💎✨😂…

I find in general people are afraid to step outside the norm.

Y’all, the more we embrace the concept of being colorful & XTRA, the more we will normalize people feeling comfortable in their own skin.

When my patient commented on my appearance in the ER, I was so freaking proud of myself in that moment because instead of being triggered, I thought f*ck yeah, I’m doing my life right.

I feel amazing, regal, beautiful, luxurious, abundant & I’m not afraid to show up. I no longer live life trying to shrink myself. (Note most of my jewelry is affordable & from Amazon. These particular earrings were Kate Spade AB crystals. LOVE. OBSESSED.)

There are threads that connect our past, present & future selves together. 🧵🪡🧶They’re unique to us. No thread is identical.

Btw… my patient smiled, I looked at her with loving eyes, & I said, “Hell yeah, I love my big earrings 👉just like life. Little person, big personality. That’s how my mom describes me.”

I experience JOY crafting & creating my character of the day. That’s me creating my heaven + my reality. You can create yours too! That’s the magic of thoughts become things. 🪄🦄

💫I manifest the feeling of my reality via my writing, my words, my wardrobe, my accessories, the way I take care of myself, the way I present myself. 👉It all comes from me. We co-create life. Utilize your resources & inner beauty.

I truly do enjoy the “ #travelnurse “ life. (I’m a travel Xray tech & clinician for newbies here) The decision to partake in this unique lifestyle didn’t come lightly, however. I did it scared shitless & had self doubt, too.

What if I suck?

What if I’m homesick?

What if people don’t like me?

What if I hate my assignment?

What will people think of me?

What if, what if, what if…

I’m elated embarking on this journey. It’s exciting, enlightening, challenging, adventurous, fulfilling, pleasurable & painful af too.

You become a more resilient, able, adaptable, loving, insightful, resourceful, badass & bombdiggitty human in my opinion.

Dudes, we rock 🤘🫶💀💕🚑🏥 Travel healthcare workers UNITE!

I realized in a rock-bottom point in my life years ago that I was stuck in a stagnant, hyper vigilant state. I was addicted to the complacent, “busy life” instead of one of inner peace & fulfillment.

GSD (get shit done) is a dopamine hit with pros & cons on both ends of the spectrum.

On one hand, it made/makes me super successful, productive, & proud, but on the other hand, also burned out, tired, cranky, oftentimes sick. It can feel on occasion I’m stuck in a phase called “chasing the next best thing,” missing out on the sweetness of life. I forget to be present.

I’m clearly aware of it.
Back then I simply didn’t know how to change it or how to evolve into a better version of me. Some things that helped me understand myself & other people to get what I wanted 👇

I’ve lost 60lbs in my life’s time and kept it off. I documented my healing, weight loss, & carnivore journey HERE just for you in case you’re struggling like I did.

My complacency with life was a protective mechanism. I armed myself with “safe” decisions & stagnancy because of past trauma:

being a people pleaser

always feeling like I had to achieve to receive love

feeling I had to look a certain way or weigh a certain weight to be seen as beautiful & worthy of love

wanting to change myself to be accepted & validated…I could go on & on here.

Ego got me into debt because I would buy shit just to look the part instead of because it made me feel amazing or enabled me to express my creative authenticity.

It’s taken over 40 years for me to acknowledge & accept the following things that are seen as weird & non-traditional to society.

I’m exuberatingly proud to say that I am OK living an extremely satisfied, loving life being self partnered & non traditional.

Self partnered to me is living life on my own terms to feel, look, & be my best…AND THAT MEANS designing a life optimized to help me live my most peaceful, happy, easy, joyous, abundant, loved filled, & purpose driven life possible.

I don’t give a shit that my light shines differently. And you have permission to shine bright yourself, as bright as you want, however you want! ✨🪩✨

Huge observational revelations I scripted one morning trying to make sense of myself & life. They’re a tad bit triggering but honest af. Maybe you’ll relate to them too!

🧠I sleep in cycles & when I’m tired, I don’t pay attention to the time or whether it’s deemed morning or night. Chock that up to probably working weird 3rd and first shift cycles. I am always responsible/respectful of my work schedule. I feel my best when I honor my natural sleep/wake cycles. I sleep really well 😆 in the back of my Ford Ecosport (named Ruby btw 🚗) where I’ve made a little bed. I had to take naps on my lunch breaks to conserve energy on many travel assignments and road trips. I travel often & this has been a Godsend in keeping my energy/health as a priority.

🧠 I am a biohacker 🤷‍♀️ To answer y’all’s questions about my anti-aging & biohacking routine, I wrote a blog HERE for you.

🧠Music is my life force just like food. So is my wardrobe, colors, & the vibe of my environment. They immensely influence my mood & energy. I’ve learned how to change & utilize these to my benefit. I have playlists & colors that I’ll wear & listen to to reflect the mood I’m in or vibe/state I need to be in. Playlists I enjoy are my Denim & Rhinestones list, coffee house jazz, classical pop, nature sounds, country, red dirt music, caffeine & kilos playlist, etc. morgan wallen, post Malone, & Warren zeiders always 🙂  A HUGE VARIETY! 🎶 Spotify playlist HERE

🧠I feel my best when I’m caffeinated. Haha! I do enjoy coffee & occasional alcohol in moderation. I don’t drink alcohol much tho. If I’m going to partake in alcohol or a cocktail, it’s to enhance an experience like a special occasion or my favorite venue. I don’t drink to get drunk anymore. Not worth it, dims my light & numbs my abilities. I’d rather go to bed early & get up early. If I’m going to partake in alcohol, it’s usually early in the day, socially.

🧠I eat when I’m hungry & eat what I’m hungry for. I do whatever form of exercise/workouts feel good to me in that moment. Here lately it’s Orange Theory, zone 2 cardio, walking, occasional CrossFit & strength training. I look & feel my best when I honor my body without force. I do better digestively & energy wise eating one large low carb, MEATY meal early in the day & sipping on my daily chocolate nutritional shake from @acheiveequilife or @nuethix_formulations Medipure DS during daylight hours. (LINK to discounts & products IN IG BIO & HIGHLIGHTS btw)

OR one larger meal in the morning post workout & a small snack around 1pm-ish.

Meat bars and my airfryer are my jam. You can find recipes and videos in this blog HERE.

I have a whole recipe book full of low carb deliciousness! 👇👇

I prefer eating alone or intimately with few people vs eating out. My energy is best with liquid meals (I am more satiated with real food however, that’s why I keep one large meal in the morning) I do fab fasting longer hours overnight (like 20 hrs) That’s when my digestion is the best.

🧠I prefer being a lone wolf. I am social, but do it in doses on my own terms.

I have very few people I am comfortable sharing my space with (traveling, sleeping over, adventuring, etc): my parents, + my 2 besties @lisamitchellindy & @just___jess___

They are my persons & make my life FULL❤️ no matter how little or how much we talk, or are/aren’t physically around one another, I know they are always there & we pick up where we left off. People that feel like Freedom & Home. Thank you for being my biggest adventures + safe spaces.

🧠I define & base my relationships on how they make me feel. Traditional relationships, the married then kids then picket fence things, feel like masks & facades people put on to appease society. They simply don’t feel aligned. It’s not that I haven’t tried being the bride with the white picket fence in the past, &/or I’m not open to love, I’m just open to love & relationships on my own terms that serve me best. And why is it that the majority still feels they HAVE to have kids?

I understand this is “weird” for most people. Let me explain what is aligned to me…

💕I typically don’t stay over at peoples houses. I feel more comfortable in my own home around my own energy.

💕I enjoy driving myself, Uber, & travel solo.

💕I enjoy & sleep better alone.

💕I like going to bed early + getting up early. My mornings are everything to me & set the tone for my entire day.

💕I am energetic in the morning & more productive. I don’t lay around in bed when I first wake & I’m not one to lay & cuddle for hours. (I like cuddling & I love physical affection, but I don’t want it first thing in the morning I have things to do 😂 Same with Sex…I LOVE passionate sex, but would rather have it spontaneously throughout the day or in the middle of the night. I don’t like it first thing in the morning because ya girl dedicated to her routine)

💕I love people & being in an aligned relationship. I’ve realized I am frankly super happy & satisfied doing my own thing on my own time and I would hope that other person would feel the same. Then when the time is right, we come together later when our energies & attention are aligned to be a freakin POWER COUPLE.

🧠I love being by myself🤷‍♀️ Took me decades to get here. One thing I’m SUPER proud of myself for cultivating. It’s effortless. I am my own best friend, in my own energy. I openly love myself a ridiculous amount👉 I’m not afraid to admit that. It’s taken me over 40 years to love the essence of my being & my body & being able to just BE me.

🧠I don’t feel the need to be a wife. I look forward to a life partner that agrees with my lifestyle, my ambition, my goals, my personal boundaries, & similar beliefs. I prefer someone that compliments me in their own unique way. I prefer diversity, someone not exactly like me. I like the wisdoms that comes with challenge & variety. I like someone that wants to build something together, I like someone that is OK with me striving to always be my best.

🧠I desire someone that doesn’t want to change me. I am able to evolve & compromise but the moment you tell me what to do when I don’t want to do it & it doesn’t feel aligned, you’re trying to change me. The relationship will not work. I say this with love because I want you to be your best too. (I’m speaking to whomever my life partner is here.)

➡️➡️I call this kind of writing/journaling scripting. Simply get your thoughts out. I suggest trying it to everyone out there! Visualize/journal your thoughts & what you desire! That’s why I write all of these down in the morning on my notes page in my phone. It has helped me make sense of my life, myself, make better business decisions, relationship decisions, health, & body decisions, money decisions, etc.

🧠I am an impulse shopper. I’m an emotional being & I buy shit on a whim. 😂 I’m aware of this. I don’t shame myself for it. It just is what it is. If I buy something when I’m being emotional & I don’t love it, I require myself to take it back. It’s a self love boundary. Because money is freedom and I want to utilize it in the best way possible. I’ve made investing & saving a game that is SEXY & FUN TO ME! That’s how I’ve been able to create wealth, including getting myself out of 50k+ in debt! If finances & wanting to be a high performance achiever are things you struggle & want to improve, book a consult call with me. I’ll coach you how to do this specifically for your situation. I’m not just a “ nutrition coach “ 😉. Email me, katieokelly2@gmail.com

Sign up for our email newsletter community! I drop all the tips, guides, inspiration, specials & more every week!

🧠I love to save time & make my life effortless. I love Amazon➡️easy returns, effortless shipping. I love Instacart. They save me time going to the store & having to be around other people when my energy is low.

🧠I don’t shop in stores often because I buy shit I don’t need 😆another reason I like Amazon. I tend to only get what I’m inspired to buy. I love goodwill and thrift stores. Sometimes I just want to dress in a different style or a different color for a day or a week. I don’t need to buy designer I just buy what I feel good in. It can be a dollar or it can be $500

🧠I invest in what I feel is worthy of my well earned and deserved money. I tell myself I’m gifting the universe when I invest in other peoples crafts and skills or wardrobe. I don’t care my hair extensions and lash extensions are expensive 💁🏼‍♀️they make me feel amazing! The same with my lip injections. I love the way I look & I don’t care that other people criticize me for investing in this form of self-care.

🧠I love an effortless, energy giving life. I like auto brew on my coffee maker, I organize my space in a way that makes sense to me. I purge and clean old energy & stuff constantly. I update my wardrobe all the time with the seasons, with my seasons. If something frustrates me, I get rid of it, I change it, I cut it out of my life, I optimize it, or I delegate it in someway. I am here to love every bit of my life and I have the power to change whatever I want.

🧠I know I don’t have to do everything myself. I can utilize my resources. I am worthy and deserving just being me, I deserve being paid for just being me, in whatever form that means, I don’t have to perform or achieve or look a certain way to be incredible.

I record these reclamations/thoughts/acknowledgments simply for observation & self nourishment reasons with so much self-love, not ego.

And now I can go out & serve everyone to my best ability because I know my blueprint.

A letter to my fellow late bloomers

girl at sunrise

A woman aged 37 who thought her life was a failure because she wasn’t where she wanted to be in life at her age sent a DM.

She felt miserable, trapped. Thought she couldn’t start over because she was too old & a mother of 4. Her message was moving. I felt for her not only because of the great sadness she was expressing, but also because I am a #latebloomer

I sent her some journaled thoughts I wrote a while back on aging & things we should “normalize” in hopes of giving her some inspiration. I wrote these in a “magic dark” period where I was, frankly, pissed off at life, lost & confused.
Enjoy.

How bout some things to normalize…

Instead of bragging about your drinking skills like it’s something impressive, how bout we normalize impressing others by savoring the experience, not getting wasted, being present with your feelings & improving your life?

Not settling, high vibes, & good energy as our norm.

Falling in love with yourself.

Telling people you love them. Hugging, letting them linger. Whatever, make it weird

😆

Not bashing exes, other people, or ideals different than yours. How bout the Golden Rule?

Not doing rules, but doing what feels right. Leading with your heart & your gut. Anything done from a place of love & positive energy isn’t wrong.

Living by the Four Agreements: Be Impeccable With Your Word. Don’t Take Anything Personally. Don’t Make Assumptions. Always Do Your Best.

But seriously.
Normalize finding love in your 40’s & beyond. Normalize transformation & change, chasing new dreams at any age. Normalize finding yourself only to get lost again & find yourself again & being ok with it. Normalize not having a timeline yet scripting & having faith in the life & body you desire. Knowing the Universe will take care of the How.

Life doesn’t end at 25. 40 isn’t old. Aging is a privilege & life can start whenever we say it does.

Cheers to all my fellow late bloomers!

Happy Easter from one of my sanctuaries to yours

Three Life Lessons I Learned From A Terminally Ill Man That Started With A Pick Up Line

Three Life Lessons I Learned From A Terminally Ill Man That Started With A Pick Up Line girl pink scrubs

One of the best lines I’ve ever heard was delivered to me by a terminally ill man. He knew I was looking for something more, more specifically something within myself. Guess I looked like I needed a laugh!

I was working in patient access as a phlebotomist & registration right out of college (Which I LOVED!). I didn’t know if I needed to go back to school, I was unhappily married & more so unhappy with myself, physically & mentally.

He said, “I hope you know CPR, because you just took my breath away! So, aside from taking my breath away, what do you like to do?”

I laughed, “Self sabotage, apparently.”

He passed away from lung cancer a few months later. He was one of many people I got to know (& lose) in my time working in healthcare.

The message I want to share with all of you is just a short synopsis of the golden nuggets he shared with me.

He said, “Being close to fear & death, in many ways, taught me to live. Successful & happy people don’t self-sabotage. They quietly quit the past. So what is it you need to let go of? What lights you up & fills you with purpose & fulfillment? That’s your answer to making changes to live your heaven everyday.”

It wasn’t a transformation overnight but decades of making different decisions & shifting my perspective because of that one conversation.

I went to radiology school. I started doing sh*t I loved. I started slowly forgiving & loving myself. I started releasing people & habits that didn’t serve (which meant a divorce years later). It meant changing numerous jobs, failed relationships, & trying on a multitude of hats in every facet of life over my 40 years.
And I continue evolving, trying on new hats, & making mistakes, too.

3 lessons that I took from this gentleman:

  1. Life (& the world) is a malfunctioning machine, the more pissed off we let ourselves become about it, the more likely we are to crash. Try again.
  2. Happiness is not a consumable product or end goal. It is not something you find by searching or achieving. It is an arising byproduct of a fulfilling, well-lived life.
  3. A well-lived life has more to do with perspective than anything else. As long as you can evolve & laugh, there is hope.

Read this if you feel you’re life is f*cked

We see you googling, “Why is my life f*cked up.” 😂

If you have ever asked yourself, “Why is my life f*cked up?” this entry is for you.

It’s like that meme:

THERAPIST: what do we say to people who want to get to know us?

ME: welcome to the shit show.

THERAPIST: NO.

Life provides an infinite supply of inspiration & lessons should you choose to see them. I started a few years back as part of my therapy  writing them down in the moment, without a filter, without questioning them.

Some of these will inspire, some may bore you & some will piss you off 🤷‍♀️

And that’s ok, because I’m not here to be the most popular, the most successful, the most beautiful, the most perfect, the most intelligent, the most anything for that matter.

I’m here to challenge, to provoke thought, to invoke feeling, to challenge you AND to help us all wake the f*ck up, define our own reality, take up space, find our voice & do something f*cking amazing with it!!!

And to that end, here are a few of my observations on life when you feel your life is f*cked up ❤️

Your Thoughts?

Why Life rarely turns out as planned and how some people just feel different

scrubs: Figs

2 things I thought about this morning: 1. Life doesn’t always turn out the way you planned, it’s usually frustrating af first, yet somehow always turns out better. 2. Some people just feel different & are your once in a lifetime kind of people.⁣

As a younger version, I thought I’d be happily married for years, have that white picket fence, 2  kids, a dog, & happily ever after by 21. Let’s all laugh together, now.⁣

In reality, I’ll be 40 in July, I’ve been married & divorced twice. I’m single, have a cat named Pete, & struggled more years & cried more tears than you can shake a stick at. ⁣

However, I’ve learned so much about myself, how to communicate with others, who I am & wanna continue to be. I learned how to nourish myself, climb my way out of $43,000 of debt, build a business & myself as a brand. I am proud of the successful life & woman molded out of the imperfection.⁣

Life doesn’t always resemble what you thought it might look like. Milestones move, perspectives change, the things we yearn for evolve. Some things break never to be fixed again & some things break to be rebuilt better than you ever could have imagined.⁣

Life doesn’t gift us with a peek around the corner to see how things will turn out. Life does, however, litter the journey with love, laughter, moments of joy that take your breath away, learning, & it always lands us right where we’re supposed to be in divine timing.⁣

You’ll meet people who can read your silence & make your thoughts feel heard. You’ll meet people for the first time that you feel like you’ve known forever & don’t need to hide from.⁣

These people are your most cherished safe place & your most exciting adventure. They feel like the sweet burn of a good bourbon that tastes like freedom & home.⁣

They may come in & flip your life on it’s head in the most unexpected, joyful, savory, luxurious ways possible.⁣

Let life flow like water.⁣
Roll with it like a boss. ⁣

I asked an elderly patient what the most important thing she learned in life and this is what she said

Srcubs: Figs

I asked an elderly patient years ago, “What is the most important thing you’ve learned in 85 years?”⁣

And she said somethin to me I’ll never forget that I also heard on a podcast the other day that brought back this memory, “One of the most important things I’ve learned is health is the crown on the well person’s head that only the sick person can see & wealth comes in many other more important forms than money.”⁣

Ooooof. Who else felt that? 👋⁣

She went on to say, “I wished I had changed my perspective sooner. Mostly around the perception of being ‘wealthy’ & the perception that in order to be beautiful I had to be skinny. I realize I was always chasing a goal like being rich & losing as much weight as possible instead of embracing the experiences of the journey & being grateful for what I already had.”⁣

I don’t know about y’all but I love spending time with the elderly. They’re full of magical wisdom.⁣

3 things I’ve learned in my 39 yrs on this earth I’ll share with you in hopes of you learning this sooner than I did:⁣

➡️Joy, purpose, fulfillment (JPF) vs fame, fortune, applause (FFA). Which would you choose? I choose JPF because if you choose JPF the FFA will follow.⁣

➡️Forms of wealth: self mastery, self awareness, family, health, your craft, personal development, money, time, freedom, charity, adventure, your circle of genius & environment⁣

➡️Don’t lower your standards or standard of living to meet your income, raise your income & standards of living to meet your standards.⁣

➡️If you’re gonna chase something, chase service. Because “To live in the hearts we leave behind, is not to die.” – Thomas Campbell.⁣

We’re all gonna die what are you gonna leave behind? Abs, money in the bank, or the memories of a life well lived?⁣

What old facebook memories taught me about adulting & aging gracefully

Cringe worthy.

Like, “Dear Baby Jesus, did I really put that out in the world?” SMDH

My old social media posts, ESPECIALLY those on Facebook often make me wanna hide underneath a rock. On the other hand, some make me smile, some laugh, some wonder if I even had a brain or any sense of style. Those you see & you’re like, “WTF was I wearing &/or WTF was I thinking dating that person?!”

Come on, laugh, let the WTF’s flow! Judgment free zone!

As I’ve aged & became more comfortable & in love with myself, I realized they are also clues & puzzle pieces to the way I absorbed the world, evolved, & learned to eventually (hopefully), more successfully navigate as an adult.

Don’t know bout ch’all but I still feel like I’m a kid. I remember when I thought 30 was old & by 40 all the fun sh*t was over.

Hell I’m just gettin started!

I don’t consume much social media nowadays as compared to when I’d scroll endlessly without INTENT. Key word – Intent.

I use it more for content creation & connection. It is easy to get sucked into the rabbit hole. Be careful to not place your worth in your profiles. I enjoy using mine as an educational tool & expressive extension of my personality, but I choose not to use it as a barometer of my worth, existence, or social resume.

The other day tho, up popped a FB memory that went back 16 years to when I was married, unhappy, confused af, an addict to food, alcohol, & toting around a sh*tty midset, “shoulding” all over myself.

It read, “Fck this adulting, bout to get fckedddd up!”

Welp, glad my use of sentence enhancers haven’t changed.

But instead of feeling shameful, this 39 year old human felt such a sense of pride & gratitude. Pride for how much I’ve grown & gratitude for this space in life, in time – with all of you!

I know y’all relate to this too. Just wanted to check in with ya in hopes you’re also sittin in this space of awareness, love, & acceptance instead of shame, sadness, & regret.

Laugh y’all! Life is meant to be lived in JOY! No ragrets.

Anyone wanna share your “walls of shame?”

How love, food, & money are all connected & how I changed

This morning I I realized how messed up my relationships were.

I thought about chapters in the past, the struggles in particular. I talked about overcoming struggle yesterday.

(If you haven’t, check that blog out. I needed to hear it myself too. A swift kick in the🍑)

Food, body image, money, & love are all connected. My 29 year old self & sure as sh*t my 19 year old self had NO IDEA.

It all comes down to energetics & the way you FEEL about yourself.

I told y’all my body image issues, eating disorders, & fxckd up relationship with food & myself started at the age of 8.

I never felt pretty or significant. We had “enough” as a hardworking family of 5, growing up on a farm.

But as a child, often material “wealth” outweighs the truly important things like kindness & service.

So if you don’t have certain things or dress like the cool kids, you’re picked on & told that you’re poor & less worthy.

If you’re not skinny like the popular kids you’re told you’re fat & not worthy of love.

This wrecked my relationships with love, food, & money for decades.

As a result I racked up credit card debt to buy things to make myself feel more worthy.

I over ate & under ate to control my body thinking reaching a certain size would make me worthy of love. Exacerbating my poor health, disordered eating, & gut issues.

My romantic relationships we’re like rainbows of confusion, struggle, & continuously feeling lost.

We place value & control on specific things for validation in hopes of making ourselves FEEL a certain way.

Usually the feelings we’re chasing are to be loved, seen, heard, worthy, significant, & included.

We want to be CHOSEN & LOVED.

Over spending

Discounting & under valuing

Emotional eating & Disordered eating

Over exercising

Giving our bodies to people who don’t deserve them

People pleasing & playing small

Excessive drinking & drug use

In American society we tend to value thin bodies, financial wealth, titles, material wealth, “fitting in & following suit.”

Improvement in all of these areas of my life started with changing my mindset, my energetics around my worth, reminding myself money is just energy, thoughts became things & I controlled my reality by my reaction, reminding myself there is so much abundance in this world, I matter simply because I exist & because I have a kind heart & choose a life of service & purpose.

I felt some of you out there may have needed to hear this message this morning & know that you’re not alone.

I may be known as a “nutrition coach” & “Xray tech”, but a reminder there are so many more facets to you than labels, food, money, & body image.

And my doors are open if you need a listening ear who accepts you as perfectly imperfect as you are.

And what you are is incredible simply because you’re YOU.💕

Happy Monday loves!

Oxox Coach K

Things you may need to hear today.

Things you may need to hear today…

👉🏻You don’t have to have life figured out.

Age (like weight) is JUST a number. Whether you’re 18, 21, 35 or 60. At school, we’re kinda forced to study certain things, pushed into a seemingly “normal” routine/timeline. (College, marriage, kids, jobs, diets, etc) Don’t worry if you’ve done things differently or, if you’ve followed that path & don’t really know what to do with your life yet.

I have friends (& myself) who were married at 22 & divorced (some divorced twice). I have others who have been together since high school & are happily married with kids.

I have friends who are 35 & beyond still single & traveling, or friends who are 25 & have the “white picket fence.” Others are married to their careers.

It’s cliche but you don’t have to ‘find yourself’ & figure out what works for you like it’s a finish line. It’s about enjoying the NOW & the journey of your evolvement.

Trust me, you’ll be a helluva lot happier when you stop giving a shxt so much about tryna figure it out & fit into a box or camp.

Aging is a privilege. Just like all those wrinkles, stretch marks, sunspots, & “flaws” you have. That means you’ve lived!!!!

Can’t fuggin WAIT for my 40’s, every year it gets better! My birthday is next Friday BTW, I’m knockin 40’s door, I’ll be 39! Almost to cougar status.🐆 😂

👉🏻Don’t compare yourself.

We choose to share certain things on social media & people don’t know the half of it. You cannot judge 1 chapter of your life to someone elses. There’s always someone in a better & worse situation than you. Just do you.

👉🏻Rainy days make flowers & rainbows.

The world is both bad & good, its called contrast. It’s important to spread kindness & love where you can. Sprinkle it everywhere. Smiles are free. You have the power to make someones day, use your power! Don’t. Be. A. Dick. (🤔Unless it’s the kind of D you want. Lol. I had to. 😂)

👉🏻You’re doing FABULOUS.

In case noone told you today. Every day you have the opportunity to begin again & write another page.

“You is kind. You is smart. You is important.”

Kathryn Stockett, The Help
