Use the Weekend To Build The Life You Want, Instead of Trying to Escape the Life You Have

I used to get wasted every Friday & Saturday (sometimes Sunday too). I used to wish my life away & only live for weekends & vacations.

Triggered much?ย ๐Ÿ‘€๐Ÿค”๐Ÿ˜ฎ๐Ÿ’ญ๐Ÿงย 

I reflected upon this memory yesterday as I admired myself in the mirror at the gym. I looked myself in the eyes, smiled, & gave gratitude to life being much different now.

I joined a new gym @blessingwellnesscenter  here on my current #travelxray assignment in #quincyillinois with @aureusmedical ๐Ÿ’€โ˜ข๏ธโšก๏ธ๐Ÿฆด๐Ÿฉป๐Ÿ˜ท๐Ÿฅ๐Ÿš‘ 

Gym & I had a date nightย ๐Ÿ˜‰ย ๐Ÿ˜˜ย ๐Ÿฆพ๐Ÿฆฟ๐Ÿ‹๐Ÿผโ€โ™€๏ธ

I thought about how many beautiful moments of breath I couldโ€™ve used differently.

A perspective is like a seed. If you get it right, sow it right, take care of it; it will yield you fruits.

One reason so few of us achieve what we truly want is that we never direct our focus; we never concentrate our power.

Most half a$$ their way through life, never deciding to master or enjoy anything in particular, especially those things that light your soul on fire!

Weekdays + Weekends = 7, not 5!

The shift to โ€œinvestingโ€ will happen once you start saying NO to a lot of usual stuff:

โŒSay NO to those vapid people & energy suckers.

โŒSay NO to unhealthy food & binge drinking.

โŒSay NO to the โ€œItโ€™s Ok, itโ€™s the weekendโ€ attitude.

โŒSay NO to late-night parties & networking with a crowd that doesnโ€™t care &/or uplevel your being!

โŒSay NO to all the things that donโ€™t shift your perspective towards a better self!

Weekends are not an end. They are a beginning. But only when you change your perspective ๐Ÿง ๐Ÿ“ˆ๐ŸŒฑ๐ŸŒปโค๏ธโ€๐Ÿ”ฅ
